After the Meeting, a Round of Golf May Be a Great Way to Relax

We’re flush with golf courses here in Orlando—more than 150—so it may be difficult to choose. Here are some well-known courses, not too far from our Convention Center, in the heart of the tourist area.

Shingle Creek Golf Club

The David Harman designed, 18-hole, 7,149-yard championship golf course, below, features undulating fairways and interconnecting waterways bordered by the natural backdrop of dense oaks and pines along historic Shingle Creek. http://www.shinglecreekgolf.com/.

The 27-hole North/South/East Course provides the ultimate test of accuracy while the 18-hole New Course, below, pays homage to the famous St. Andrews course, featuring a challenging links design with more than 150 bunkers. http://www.grandcypress.com/golf_club/.

Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando

Formerly known as Disney Osprey Ridge Golf Course designed by Tom Fazio, this course has been recognized as one of the top courses in Florida by Golf Digest. The course is a Par 71, with a yardage of 6,901 and four sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. http://tranquilogolf.com/.
