Q. Where can I get a list of specific companies for a service?
A. If you are looking for a specific company in Orlando - example: a photographer - you may search via the Orlando CVB Web site, or you may contact the Destination Meeting Services Department at meeting.services@orlandocvb.com or 407-363-5857.

Q. What is the best way to submit an RFP for services?
A. There are a couple of ways to submit an RFP for services. Via our Web site, you have an option to fill in the online form, or you may attach your own RFP. A Destination Meeting Services manager is available to answer your questions and discuss options you may be considering.

Q.  How do I hire or schedule temporary staff for my event?
A. Many organizations are trying to save money in various ways. Bringing staff can be expensive between travel, food costs, housing, etc. The Orlando CVB has a professional team of convention assistants that can handle a variety of job skills. Whether you need one person or 100 people, please call the Orlando CVB at 407-363-5857 to inquire about details.

Q. When sending out an RFP, will my information kept private?
A. We will only share the contact information that you are comfortable with sharing with our members. We will discuss the various response options with you to facilitate the best response possible.

Accomodations

Q. What is the occupancy tax in Orange County?
A. Six percent.

Q. What is the best way to find group accomodations in Orlando?
 A. The quickest way to collect information is by calling the Orlando CVB Convention Sales Department at 1-800-643-0482. They can facilitate your request to the accommodations that you prefer and meet your meeting/room requirements. Or, you may fill out an online RFP.

Q. How large in the Orange County Convention Center?
A. More than 2.1 million square feet of total exhibition space.

Q. Is there a welcome program at the airport?
A. The Orlando International Airport is open to welcome convention groups to the city. There are guidelines and policies on options, so please contact an Orlando CVB Destination Meeting Services specialist at 407-363-5857 for more details.

Q. How many restaurants does Orlando have?
A. More than 5,300, including numerous themed eateries.

Q. How do I find venues/restaurants for a large group?
A. While there are many ways to find options, the quickest way is to contact the Destination Meeting Services Department at 407-363-5857. A list can be sent based on your specific request, or an RFP can be sent to check availability. You may also search for venues on the Orlando CVB Web site.
