Nik Wallenda Takes a Death Defying “Stroll” on Orlando’s Newest Attraction

Daredevil Nik Wallenda walked Orlando’s newest attraction, the Orlando Eye, without a safety net or his trusty tightrope pole. Vast numbers of TV crews captured every second of his feat on the 400-foot-tall observation wheel. All this to publicize Orlando’s newest attraction, which will officially open April 29 at I-Drive 360, a dining and entertainment venue great for individual travelers and meeting groups, alike.

I-Drive 360 is the $200-million dollar entertainment complex which blends dining, entertainment, attractions and shopping in an upscale setting. Its beautiful courtyard, featuring flowing streams, is a wonderful space for outdoor events. The $1.5 million water show set to music and color changing lights will be a spectacular site.

Centrally located on International Drive, minutes from the Orange County Convention Center, I-Drive 360 will have plenty for meeting groups to see and do!

Of course there’s the Orlando Eye, but there’s also Madame Tussauds where groups can take over the entire venue and rub elbows with the likes of Ricky Martin and Albert Einstein.

The SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium will also be a special venue and Skeletons” Animals Unveiled! will be one of the more unique venues to throw a bash surrounded by more than 400 skeletons from the animal kingdom.

Restaurants that have already opened include Yard House, with a myriad of craft beers and Tin Roof, a great place for live music and Southern inspired eats. Sugar Factor and Ben & Jerry’s will be open for dessert.
