Here for a Meeting in Orlando? Here are Some Restaurants That Are Hidden Gems In and Around Town

There are so many wonderful dining experiences in Orlando, from award winning restaurants in our convention hotels, to independent restaurants off the beaten path. Here are a few:

Scratch is located in the heart of Winter Park, FL and is a family owned and operated business. They specialize in fresh, locally procured ingredients prepared with both modern and traditional techniques.  All items are "small plate" portions with some tried and true, signature dishes like Mediterranean sea bass with citrus thyme marinade, potato & fennel hash and  “beer” blanc.

Located in the Caribe Royale hotel in the Lake Buena Vista area, the AAA Four-Diamond Venetian Room is upscale with attentive service and fantastic food. From the rack of lamb to the fresh seafood to the trio of crème brulee, no one goes away hungry.

Nine18 in the Villas of Grand Cypress, is one of only two Forbes Four-Star restaurants in Orlando. Nine18 is a dinner-only restaurant offering a distinct selection of Black Angus steaks, fresh seafood, and an extensive 500-bottle wine collection perfect for an exceptional meal.

Surrounded by 1,500 acres of natural and serene beauty and overlooking the North-South Golf Course, Nine18 offers a relaxing and elegant atmosphere.

Lakeside Bar + Grill at Bohemian Hotel in Celebration offers lakeside dining and an indulgent new menu including Citrus Glazed Scallops, the Bohemian Burger, or Hunt Boar, pictured below, for sharing. After enjoying their signature dishes, mingle at the Bohemian Hotel’s lounge – a local gathering place – and enjoy signature cocktails and live music while absorbing some of the best views in Celebration on the lakeside terrace.
