The Edison at Disney Springs®
This Industrial Gothic-style restaurant, bar and nighttime destination is one of the most visually striking venues at Disney Springs, and one of the best reasons for groups to visit! Featuring gourmet food, craft cocktails and stellar nightlife, The Edison looks and feels as if it were built inside a converted power plant.
An imaginative dining option by day, The Edison transforms into one of Orlando’s hottest nightspots with craft cocktails, contemporary American food and live entertainment. And starting at 10 p.m. on Thursday through Sunday nights, admission is restricted to guests 21 and up and the entertainment gets a bit more risqué — including burlesque dancers!
The Edison also caters to groups, from intimate gatherings for 20 to lavish parties for a crowd of 300. Customizable menus are also available and at prices as affordable as $35 per person. Disney Springs has several other venues that are ideal for post-meeting cocktails, such as Morimoto Asia’s Forbidden Lounge, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar and others.
CityWalk’s Rising Star
Located at Universal CityWalk at Universal Orlando Resort, CityWalk’s Rising Star is fun place to grab a drink, and a must-visit if your group includes people who are great singers — or who at least aren’t afraid to get up on stage and belt out their favorite tunes! What’s more, the venue features a live band and talented backup singers on Tuesdays through Saturdays, with recorded tracks doing the work on Sundays and Mondays. Even if none of your attendees are willing to give it a go, you’ll all have a blast watching other people strut their stuff.
CityWalk’s Rising Star also caters to groups with its VIP Service, which includes an exclusive seating area with table service, a dedicated server, and express entry to the venue. Other Universal CityWalk nightspots that are perfect for groups include Jimmy Buffet’s® Margaritaville®, Bob Marley — A Tribute to Freedom℠, the groove, Pat O’Brien’s® and Red Coconut Club.
Mango’s Tropical Cafe
Mix business with pleasure at Mango’s Tropical Cafe, located on International Drive in the heart of Orlando’s convention district. Boasting 55,000 square feet of entertainment space, Mango’s delivers hot rhythms, electric dance floors, a one-of-a-kind live show and cool cocktails for groups of any size.
Speaking of groups, Mango’s offers private rooms, private dance floors and even full-venue buyouts to accommodate groups as small as 20 or as large as 2,000. They can also provide gourmet packages for plated or reception-style events, specialized bar packages and other extras when your attendees are ready to dance the night away.
Tin Roof
Ain’t nothing rusted about this Tin Roof! One of many dining and nightlife options at ICON Park® on International Drive, this self-described live music joint specializes in great food, great drinks and great times for everyone — including meetings groups.
The 11,800-square-foot venue has two configurable spaces that can hold anywhere from 20 to 1,000 guests, and special block parties are an option for even larger groups. They can also customize the perfect food, beverage and entertainment package to ensure an amazing evening. ICEBAR Orlando
When your group visits ICEBAR Orlando, you’re sure to have a cool time — ice-cold, even, and all within walking distance of the Orange County Convention Center! What makes it unique is that nearly everything inside is made from ice, including furniture, decorations and even the glasses. Fortunately, the parkas they provide are an exception to that rule.
ICEBAR Orlando has more than 5,100 square feet of versatile event space, with capacity for 50-500 guests inside and up to 1,200 in the outdoor area. Given the singular nature of the venue, you can bet that the experience will be “frozen” in your attendees’ minds forever!
Howl at the Moon
Your group is guaranteed a rocking night of fun when you visit Howl at the Moon, a dueling piano bar that serves an energetic, interactive live show alongside cocktails, beer and wine. Howl’s performers can fulfill any request your attendees throw at them, and they can even come up with custom songs dedicated to your event!
They can also handle groups of just about any size, with reserved seating for up to 50, use of the private Moon Deck and/or Sun Deck for larger groups, or even up to 600 for a full-venue buyout. Need more space? They can accommodate up to 1,200 with outdoor tenting!
