Social Offset

For groups searching for an opportunity to utilize their meeting to have a larger voice on issues important to their attendees, there is SocialOffset. They help organizations find productive avenues to influence policy by enabling a charitable donation that “offsets” tax dollars spent in a destination with policies that run counter to personal values. One hundred percent of individual donations go to the vetted local charities that SocialOffset works with the event organizers to select. Visit Orlando is a Gold Partner of SocialOffset.

Impactful Meetings

Orlando is grateful to the organizations that take the time during their busy itinerary to contribute to our local community and help make a difference. Here are just a few examples of the great work that has been done by groups meeting in central Florida.

  • The Do it Best Corp. Spring Market 2023 contributed nearly $1 million in home improvement products to West Orange Habitat for Humanity.
  • In 2023 NAFEM, PGI, GFS and Catersource donated a combined 30,000 pounds of food to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orlando.
  • Global Pet Expo partners with Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando and their exhibitors to donate unused pet products from the trade show floor. They also partner with local pet adoption organizations to dog and dog and cats up for adoption on the show floor.
