ICON Orlando is now The Wheel at ICON Park® (pictured), and we have details on this and other upgrades at the renamed attraction and entertainment complex.

One of Orlando’s most recognizable landmarks, the 400-foot-tall observation wheel formerly known as ICON Orlando and the Orlando Eye has rebranded as The Wheel, with the surrounding complex transforming into ICON Park®.

Here’s a look at these and other changes coming to the International Drive attraction, including the Justice League at Madame Tussauds and more, making ICON Park an exceptional venue for team-building encounters and offsite fun in Orlando.

New Ways to Play at ICON Park

“The new ... name makes perfect sense as we introduce some key changes and position this iconic structure for the future,” says Cindy Campbell-Taylor, vice president of marketing, sales and public affairs at ICON Park. The attraction’s forecast is very bright indeed, with upgrades that include:

  • Private Parties: This new, adults-only feature includes complimentary beer and wine, plus a private bartender for you and up to nine additional guests aboard The Wheel capsules. You can also upgrade to a second rotation to keep the party going. Naturally, this new experience lends itself well to group outings.
  • Enhanced, Fully Immersive Capsules: As part of the makeover, The Wheel capsules will soon include WiFi, making it easier than ever for groups to stay connected. New customization options for personalizing your flights are also being added.
  • Nightly Light Show: Later this year, nights at The Wheel will become even livelier with an enhanced, synchronized display incorporating ICON Park’s courtyard fountains.

More Fun Is Coming to ICON Park

Batman at Madame Tussauds
DC Entertainment’s Justice League Is Coming to Madame Tussauds Orlando at ICON Park

ICON Park has some other upcoming upgrades your attendees won’t want to miss, starting with Justice League: A Call for Heroes at Madame Tussauds Orlando. Starring Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ben Affleck as Batman, as seen in the recent Justice League motion picture, the expansion will feature authentic replicas of props and costumes from the film.

Justice League: A Call for Heroes will also be the first in a new line of Madame Tussauds attractions pairing live experiences with the company’s famous wax figures. It joins the existing lineup of Hollywood stars, championship athletes, musicians, historical figures and other icons that make Madame Tussauds a fun night out for any group.

Other attractions at ICON Park include SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and In the Game ICON Park, which are complemented by dining and retail options like Blake Shelton's Ole Red and Tin Roof. With so much to see and do, it’s no wonder why organizations of all sizes and backgrounds choose ICON Park for a fun outing in Orlando.
