Escape Rooms

Looking for clues at The Heist at The Escape Game Orlando

These unique attractions “lock” teams inside rooms, where they’ll need to work together to find clues, solve puzzles and crack codes in order to escape within the set time limit, which is usually around an hour. Escape rooms are challenging, educational, and above all else, a lot of fun for groups.

Escaping requires all the elements of good teamwork: Keen observation, problem-solving skills and proper communication. It’s a great activity for corporate groups to come together for one unique and engaging purpose, while building up your team’s ability to solve problems and be entertained in the process.

Top escape-room attractions in Orlando include Escapology and The Escape Game Orlando, the latter of which is rated as Orlando’s No. 1 escape room by TripAdvisor. Both are located on International Drive close to the Orange County Convention Center.

SAK Comedy Lab

Listening, adapting, agreement and the suspension of judgment are the skills of an effective improv actor — and they can be part of your team’s skill set, too. Located in downtown Orlando, SAK Comedy Lab’s training builds stronger, more productive teams by enhancing communication and aiding team members to throw away inhibitions. SAK has over 30 years’ experience teaching these skills to people of all ages.

Golf at a Legendary Course

Golf has a proven way of helping players cultivate new business opportunities and strengthen professional relationships while promoting teamwork and camaraderie. Orlando has approximately 150 golf courses and academies from which to choose, including several designed by pros — including Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, home of the world-famous Arnold Palmer Invitational, and its Arnold Palmer Golf Academy.

In addition to the chance to play 27 holes on one of the world’s most breathtaking golf courses, group options at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge can include a full, golf-focused agenda, including lessons from the resident experts. Fore!

Tennis on Professional Courts

USTA National Campus Nemours Family Zone

Orlando isn’t just a giant in the world of golf. We’re also the Home of American Tennis, thanks to the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus in Lake Nona, about 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Tennis offers equal opportunities for cooperation and competition, and the massive, 64-acre USTA National Campus has 100 of the world’s best courts, including red-clay options. What’s more, courts at the Nemours Family Zone are free to play for all ages and skill levels, although pre-registration is required. Throw in the facility’s educational and training programs, including private lessons, and you have team-building your group is sure to “love.”

Outdoor Adventures

Wallaby Ranch Hang Gliding Flight Park tandem

The Orlando region is blessed with gorgeous nature, both on land, in the water, and even in the sky. Better still, our great outdoors provides ample team-building opportunities your group will never forget.

For example, at Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park, your team can build their coordination skills while increasing their trust in each other as they tackle a challenging zipline obstacle course together. Other zipline attractions of note include Screamin’ Gator Zip Line at Gatorland, where they’ll actually soar over alligators — if they dare!

If your group prefers to get on the water, set them up with one of our many airboat tour operators. There, they’ll witnessed untouched flora and fauna together in some of the coolest watercraft ever devised. These include Boggy Creek Airboat AdventuresSpirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides, and Wild Florida.

Last but not least, your group can soar 2,000 feet above Orlando with experienced instructors at Wallaby Ranch Hang Gliding Flight Park. Located about 25 minutes southwest of Walt Disney World® Resort, this unique attraction is open seven days a week, weather permitting.
