Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek’s brand new $5 million ballroom and meeting room is now open, expanding the hotel to a total of 32,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space. The new ballroom was unveiled during a recent ribbon cutting ceremony and reception.

“The vision of the new ballroom space brings a flexibility to our hotel where we can really take care of groups,” said John Branciforte, Area Director of Sales and Marketing of Wyndham Grand. “We are very excited for the opportunity to be of better service to our corporations and associations, or any market.”

The completed space includes the 3,500 square foot Bonnet Creek Ballroom which opens up to a balcony overlooking the oasis pool and fountains on the lake and the 2,155 square foot Expedition Meeting Room.   

New lighting technology was also incorporated into the new spaces' design. The ballroom features a state-of-the-art lighting system that can enhance the space for a corporate meeting with subdued up-lighting to creating a one-of-a-kind themed private dinner event.

During the opening reception, the space was filled with unique catered creations from Executive Chef Andrew Edwards and his team. 

Delectable sugar sculptures, nitrogen Champagne, a variety of truffles, Tapas and infused sushi, to name a few, were included in the evening’s cuisine.    

The AAA Four-Diamond rated hotel features a Mediterranean theme with 400 guest rooms & suites and is only minutes from Orlando attractions.
